Okay, it works. As I said, the fixed bid for playoffs was just an idea to float.
Personally, I like being able to drop two units in a territory if I think it is needed. We are keeping the one naval unit per sea zone starting with naval units of the power in question though, correct?
Bottom line is, if both players agree, they can do it (for negotiating starting setup)

can we put out the APB on the existing moderators to see if anyone is watching the store in regards to these types of administrative issues? is Darth still active? Dave Jensen makes an appearance ever 3 months or so for about 10 seconds.

Bold, feel free to PM all other moderators and ask if any of them can edit or sticky in league threads. We may just need to ask a small favor of one of them to do a little housekeeping for us. If you’re not, let me know and I will PM them.

DarthMaximus, GuerillaGuy and Dzrtfish are the only 3 moderators listed on virtually every board on the site. So I PM’d the 3 of them and copied Jennifer, basically asking what’s the deal.

Hi, I am looking for players for G40 league.
Where can I read what players have to do to reach the play-offs and how they work?
In relation to the LL or other optional rules, I like players agree in relation to the aproach, as that makes more room for people being satisfied with the game and does not impide others to play like they want.
My friends and I even tried our own rule on Atomic bomb investigation when playing the classic version 20 years ago… We have not developed it yet for the G40 as we are still playing the first board G40 2nd Ed game at home, but for sure it will come… :-D
