RE: Clarification needed…. Russia/Berlin captured on same turn
Welcome to the forum.
@Gunngrinner said in Clarification needed…. Russia/Berlin captured on same turn:
Does Russia plunder all the IPCs from Germany,
Yes. By the rules (e.g. rulebook 1940 Europe SE), page 21, “You collect these IPCs
even if your own capital is in enemy hands.”@Gunngrinner said in Clarification needed…. Russia/Berlin captured on same turn:
… and if so, can they use uncaptured factories to place new units on their next turn?
No. Rulebook (same page) says: “The original controller of the captured capital is still in the game but can’t collect income from any territories he or she still controls and can’t buy new units. The player skips all but the Combat Move, Conduct Combat, and Noncombat Move phases until the capital is liberated.”

oh nvm i just noticed you corrected yourself on that.

@farmboy said in AD (L+28) vs FB (X +10) #4 BM:
apologies for the delay. I’ve been pretty swamped the last few days and having trouble finding the time to play.
I’m pretty close to conceding too. Its been pretty clear where this game has been going for a while and I don’t think my shift of japanese units to the pacific has made the dent I hoped it would. But its always a bit hard to concede with one side of the board going as well it is so I will play out the next couple of rounds and then decide.
no worries, i understand. did you mean “my shift of japanese units to europe”? as that’s what i’ve mostly seen is your shifting units to help germany.
but yeah in any case, i agree the situations seems dire for the axis, and the tuv gap only seems to grow ever wider.
