Didn’t get much better. I got diced hard.

I did sealion, and Oysteilo dog piled Germany, effectively containing it and started to close in. Japan went hog wild, took India and moved in to take Hawaii for the win. USA attacked Jap fleet off Midway in 20% odd attack, thinking favorable reduction could save Hawaii in long run. Dice smacked USA down, Japanese fleet was left mostly intact, but then Japan attacked Hawaii and got crushed. But Japan had 2nd round option on Hawaii. USA moved to nuke remaining infantry available to Japan sitting in Wake, but lost. End game.

Yeah, victory was in his hands! but he gave it back. Actually I was just probably being emotional after rolling Japan and seeing only 3 red dice pop up among the 20 dice. Oysteilo was sober and judicious in telling me I was wrong

I underestimated the pacific situation, but with a fairly normal result with usa in previous round I would have decent shot at it, but still underestimated it
