@regularkid It’s a great mod and I really enjoy playing it, but the info about bombers costing 14 IPCs isn’t on the first page, at least not that I can see.
Are the rules just what you wrote on page 1? Don’t you have a document that you can download? Forget AAA. Most people are playing the board game. I figured you might have some pretty decent 2-3 page document? Balance mod is like 5 paragraphs of text?
Good point, that should be in the first post about the 14IPC bombers. Hopefully it will be updated soon.
@simon33 I just updated game notes to specify the new cost for Bombers. If you delete and reinstall Balanced Mod, you will see the change reflected. Thanks for pointing this out, guys.
@imperious-leader our primary audience is the TripleA/League community. That being said, the rules to BM are identical to those of G40, except as otherwise stated in the first post of this thread, and in the TripleA game notes. If you would like to make a document containing these rules for Tabletop use, I’d be happy to link to it at the top of the thread. I know, for example, that others have already made National Objective cards, which you can find linked in an earlier post.

I followed the thread about increasing the cost but i thought it would be optional?!
Is there a possibility to turn it on/off like the Iwo Jima NO as an example?
@aequitas-et-veritas You can always edit PUs before every purchase. Or use combat move 1st.
@aequitas-et-veritas yes, we left the “combat move first” and other included variants of BM unchanged, so you have the option of playing with the 12 PU bombers if you like. But the official version has bombers at 14.

you need to remove the old file on the pc.
@trulpen helped me with that and it worked.
i had the newest version of triple a, and the latest map, but still , when i created the game, the boms cost 12.
then i deleted some maps on the PC, i think the ones with triple a , and installed it all over again, from the begining.
than it worked

All links whether they are supported for AAA or not should be on the first page. That is if your interested on making it more popular. Also, if the map is different at least Page one should illustrate these changes.

Great question.
Answer: There is no chance of a conflict.
Yes, you have an older version of the map installed. You would need to delete and reinstall the map to see the 14 bomber cost on new games you start from your computer.
However, saved game files are imbedded with the xml data that started the game. Therefore, if someone else starts a game with the new version of the map, when you load that saved game, you will see the 14 bomber cost, because TripleA is drawing upon the the embedded xml data, rather than your local xml.
Conversely, if you were to start a game from your computer, and share a saved game with another person who has the updated map, that person would see the 12 bomber cost, because the saved game would contain your xml data.

I have looked for threads that deal with this but they are sort of rambling and don’t quite answer all my questions. If you can point me to a thread or pdf that explains it all, that would be great. Otherwise a response here for these questions/comments will be greatly appreciated. Also, the Notes tab in the game itself does not address most of these. And I am interested in what the Triplea rules are now, not the original game rules. Thanks.
If Japan attacks Dutch islands, UK can declare War on Japan, correct? Does that include Anzac can do the same? Or do one or both automatically go to War with Japan if Dutch are attacked? And does AI handle properly?
If French Indochina is attacked, same question. UK/Anzac can declare war or are they immediately at War? AI handles properly?
For both 1. and 2. above, I assume that if they are at War with Japan automatically, that the US can then declare War on Japan? OR, if UK/Anzac simply can choose now to go to War, then if they attack Japan, the US can not go to War until the proper turn?
Can Anzac and UK declare War on Japan at any time in all cases? If that is the case, then the answer should be that an attack on the Dutch or French IS an act/declaration of war by Japan and that US can then also go to War in their next turn.
With Russia, I have noticed that it is very hard to not have the Mongolians join Russia, even if Russia declares War 1st. But, am I correct in remembering that if Russia attacks Manchuria first, then Mongolians will not join Russia even if Japan takes back Manchuria and attacks Amur?

Vichy is activated, normandy is under USA control, southern france is not activated by axis. Now, what happens to the grey boats in sz 93 if USA captures southern france (from normandy)
