In any case (Vanila or BM), how about sending the maximum bid for allies to Gamer or any independent player secretly (the minimum bid gets allies with that bid).

There is no bid system. Per league rules, whatever is agreeable to both players may be done.
A single secret bid is faster and easier, and can be interesting because you’re not bidding off of each other. If you don’t like that idea, then why don’t you tell Juan how you want to bid?

If you two do actually agree to do a single secret bid, I can receive it and tell you who won, yes. Fine with me if you find someone else too.

But again, as the league rules state, the starting set up (including bid) should be agreeable to both players, so you guys need to agree on how you’re going to do it.

Thx. Yes Adam the way Gamer is describing is how I propose bidding here. It has been done before and I think is a good way to solve the bid process.

I expected you to insist on BM but given it means a direct loss for me in the game that you created and have 20 vs 1 games experience compared to mine, I also have to insist in Vanila. Shall we use dice to decide if it is Vanila or BM? 50% chance for each. Alternatively, could you give me a large bid for Axis in BM?

The rules state that the standard game is vanilla. BM needs to be agreed by both players. Unless I’m misunderstanding something.

I can understand Adam514’s desire for BM though.

Perhaps you guys can break the deadlock if Adam514 can suggest an allied bid for BM3? The single secret bid idea is interesting!
