Quick answer is that bids seem to keep going up with bids over 20 now common.
yes
just the dollar amount.
Current stable build 7621 resolves this problem.
Cool, thanks. How to download the latest build?
Why would you want to have to do those extra clicks? I don’t get it.
I tell you why. In games I invest effort I do a practice run first.
Then when doing the real run, I hit done combat and then I look at the list of combats and I compare that list with the practice run.
It happens quite often that I forget a non walk-in battle in the real run which I realize when comparing the list of battles.
Now, with the auto rolling this is not possible anymore.
Plus, just psychologically I find it annoying to be overruled by the engine. I, the human WANT to be in control when battle dice are start to get rolled.
Hmm, ok.
If kamikazes sink a US battleship carrying a marine that has unloaded for an amphibious assault does the marine still fight in the land battle assuming the US clears the sz?
No it doesn’t fight, the ship needs to survive the battle to unload troops.
Thanks Adam!
Hi guys, I’m curious to know what people think the fair or average bid is/should be for BM3. My opinion is 3-5 bid for Axis, but I’ve seen people playing straight up frequently and I’ve seen bids as high as 12. So what is your opinion on a the bid for BM3?
BSD,
For the 2017 league, the Allies went 155-138, a .529 winning pct.
I think most of the time there was no bid, and I don’t remember any games where the Allies had a bid. So there were some with small Axis bids, and yet the Allies still had a .529 winning pct.
That’s just the overall total for the league in 2017, nearly 300 games. You could analyze it differently, like looking at when the best players play each other and look at those stats, but
I think it’s safe to say the Allies have a bit of an advantage in BM3 and the Axis deserve a small bid to make it closer to 50/50, yes. I think that’s a bit of a consensus around here as well.

Awesome, thanks for the information!
Hey gamerman, it looks like u might have an Allied loss missing in your stats. The Allied losses are one less than the Axis wins, which should be equal.
Yeah, couldn’t find it
I had a glitch in my recent game. I was playing the Axis and made a strategic bombing run on Moscow. I was never given a choice on what I was bombing and all the damage went against the airbase. I did multiple runs offline to see if I was making a mistake but never saw it.

Were there fighters that could intercept?
no fighters
can you post a saved game file?
If there’s no fighters, Triple-A prompts at the point of combat movement. If you remove the attack and add it again does it ask you?
Strictly speaking, that is the incorrect point to ask but it is adequate the way that it is.
