A bit about myself:

• I have played Global 1940 very little so far; 1-2 games on the “physical” board with friends, just the Europe version though. Also, I am currently playing a couple of PBEM-games with a friend (one vs. each other, one team game vs. two other people), each of those PBEM-games have only progressed a couple of rounds, though.
• I feel I am pretty familiar with the TripleA software by now (amazing software by the way, great work).
• Overall, I am pretty new to the game. Have never played a league game before, so I might need a little instruction along the way. Not too much I think, though, as mentioned one of my two active online games is an online PBEM game (team mode, 2 vs. 2). So I think I have learned most of what I need to learn regarding how to bid, set up the game, post turn summaries etc.
• Back in the day (like 10 years ago) I played a lot of the axis version available then, 1942 I think it was called. I played online as well. By the way, this new version (1940 Global) seems even better than the old one, more balanced, not so few “optimal” strategies, more unit types, more fun. Looking forward to play the game more.

If you’re not familiar with this document, you should check it out.  I have compiled a running list (most of these issues have been added to the game notes in Triple A too, if you check that out) of rulebook rules that Triple A does not correctly apply.
