  • @redrum France took Crete from Turkey and Shang from G. But had no good options for major action. Can’t dislodge G from Burgundy, yet. Biding my time. During WWI the French generals were too eager to attack and rid the G from their homeland. But just ended up taking heavy losses for no gain. Only one general was astute enough to be cautious and he was criticized for it, until he saved them from collapse. I am not in a position to be brash. I’ve never seen a Zep built or used in my forum games. Never saw the rules for it. Can a fighter intercept?

    neither normal fighter nor late fighter can intercept.

    Only AA gives you a 1 in 6 chance of taking a bomber down.

  • Never even noticed the AA in the listing of land units or build menu. Very weak defense against SBR, and Zep could just attack somewhere else. Also defends against fighters, so small benefit in certain territories under threat of combined air/land attack. But few fighters in 1914 game compared to WWII. And fighters are often used in small attacks on lightly defended targets where AA wouldn’t be safe or practical.
