Hey crew–its that time of year again: Gencon 2019!!
I’ve talked to quite a few people from this forum, my friend group, and FB AxA group who will be attending. This is my fourth year, and I’ll be playing 42.3 on Thursday and AAZ on Friday. Parking pass hasn’t come in the mail yet (they tell me the printoff is enough to get my pass) but this is a critical item as access to your car is the only reliable way to stow your Gencon purchases and to get the heck out of the sweltering downtown before the heat and teeming hordes overcome you.
Slip Capone, AAGamer, and likely Dave Jensen are going, but at least 3-4 more have also mentioned it.
I’m happy to help anyone who needs advice or logistical help, and will have a car and be on site from 1000-1600h Th, Fri and Sat. I will be retiring to the Slippery Noodle Blues Bar or Sun King Beer Tent at around 1600h-1800h each day, to refresh and refuel, and welcome your company. PM me with your phone number if anyone wants to get psyched up and pre-discuss.

Yup I am going… Havent gone in at least 8-9 years… So it will be interesting… I only signed up for Global 42 but not sure if that is what I want to play… I want to get around and see the Flames of War guys as well… Been playing that for the last 8-9 years… lol… I am winging it for parking so ideas are helpful… Room is at airport and have to bring scooter in with the truck to move around long distances… Looking forward to seeing you all there…

There is no ‘winging it’ for parking in Indy. In KC, sure. In Indy, its one giant tow-away zone–no street parking for miles, and gate ten owns like 3 square miles of nuked neighborhood that they rent to … us.
