@General-Day Apologies for the delay (we’ve been busy with holiday activities). We are fine sending you the map and rules for the game, with the obvious proviso that we retain all copyrights to them. Please email us at pmfproductionscontact@gmail.com and we can send you the map and rules. We hope you and your friend will find them helpful and we’ll be interested in any feedback you have!
Axis&Allies Stalingrad or Kursk?
-
Im a huge A&A fan and those were two of the biggest battles of the war in Europe. The battle of Kursk was the largest tank battle ever. Just throwing my two cents in. Cant wait to get my A&A WW1-1914

Through HBG or wizzards? (Not that it matters to me, though…)

I believe it will be HBG.

HBG is doing a board game on Kursk, eventually at some point. :-)

Any updates on either of these projects? Really interested in both!

Both are in progress. Hoping to have same rule system for each game for ease of play. Not to give too much away, the games should have a battleboard that you will be able to advance and retreat during the battle. Workimg on this concept right now.

That should not be too hard to accomplish, just let the rule say, that after each round of combat, the attacker press 1) Attack, 2) Retreat or 3) Stay to make the territory contested. Then, as in a real war, the defender should have a menu of responses too. After each round of combat , and after the Attacker has pressed his option, the defender press 1) Defend, 2) Retreat or 3) Stay to make the territory contested. The combat end when one side control the territory because the other side is killed or retreated, or both sides agree to stay and contest the place

We are working on a battleboard that is dynamic. You will actually be able to advance on the battleboard into enemy territory and also retreat off the battleboard. Also you have to decide which units will be on the front lines, secondary lines and reserve lines. Also aircraft will have to be used as Air Cap or Ground support. It will be a really cool addition to any game.

Sounds it, Tigerman.

Any updates? I always really enjoy seeing future releases on the hbg webpage, but it also makes for such a long wait then :-D

The undaunted series is bringing out Stalingrad next!

Would be nice if Larry Harris did it as his swan song. I think it could be a great game.

Kursk for sure, we need a late war game
