It has been brought to my attention that Dawgoneit is #1 on all 3 versions of the game. Pretty sure that’s never been done. Let’s hear it for the Dawg!

Whoa, didn’t realize Wiz missed all of 2022 -

L23 Martin X vs Dawgoneit L+29 OOB #3
Martin X wins

@dawgoneit So taking this game as an example. M accepted a bid because he thought he could still win as the Axis. Wouldn’t it be more sporting? fair? better for the community? if we had a handicapping system like in golf?
Given the evil of the history behind these events shouldn’t we as a community adjust the set up to favor the Allies. This would make the better players accept the bids of their inferiors to play the Axis. Because they still rightly assume , even with the bid, that their side will win.
If the Axis are not winning most games, my guess would be it is because good players feel the need to play the other side occasionally. And they still win.
Some random ideas.

@crockett36 Renegade, see! Hear! Make the necessary adjustments!

I find the idea of a handicapping system like in golf interesting!
-
@martin OK try this out for size we’re handicap according to the allied IPC value intern five of your last 10 games. What do you think?

In Turn 5

@crockett36 I created a discussion thread for this in order to keep the league results clean:

A much deserved win for Farmboy against Pejon_88 in the quarter finals.
-
@pejon_88 what round did you call it? If I may ask?
-
@pejon_88 I can tell it was epic from the post-mortem. Just what we all hope for in the playoffs. Now, root for Farmboy as he has a HECK of a path to the championship! :ghost: :ghost: :ghost: :ghost: :crown:
That is a Ghost blockin’ your view of the crown.

it was round 12. You can see some discussion of it in our thread. Pejon has a very challenging axis opening that I was barely able to survive.

All in all, I had two opportunities at India with about 100% and good TUV, but positioned myself badly which Farmboy took the most out of especially since I didn’t follow through.
