@Adam514 I went through this turn twice but the first time I think I had loaded it in local game. But I skipped to Japan’s production and then was going to open the end turn autosave to post and none of our info showed up. So I went through the turn again. The dice were worse for me the second time (the first time around you missed in smolensk). If I somehow wasn’t on local game and you do get dice for both games, I’ve kept a copy of hte original play through as well but I’m fine to stick with the second. In each case the turn was exactly the same except for the different combat outcome.

@Adam514 each time I’ve loaded the game its defaulted to local mode and gone straight to the buy units phase rather than the opening menu. I have to open the game first, reset it to forum and then open the file. And I have second problem in taht it normally takes a day or two before the dice emails show up so I can’t rely on that confirm the mode.
Not a big deal now that I figured it out, but I expect there might be other moments where I get confused whether I’ve played in local or forum.
If you load it from the PBF window you won’t have any issues like that. Also in local mode you won’t have the post game option under File on the top left.
The French inf should be on what tp?
@Adam514 US transport. And to be clear, I am playing from PBF. Its just that when I download the saved game it immediately opens to the buy units phase in local mode. In the past it would automatically load to the menu and the default would be PBF. I’m not sure why that has changed.
but its not a big deal now that I realize its happening. I just have to close the game, switch it PBF and reload the download. Its why I was confused before on the Soviet turn as to whether I played PBF or local.
