@axis-dominion In round 1 (when you add the bombardment) the trade, on average, would have slightly favoured me. I figured I have little to lose at this point with the gamble and the most likely outcome was either attrition that favoured me or was at least close to even. The dice decided otherwise. as I hit 5 below and you hit 2 above.

@axis-dominion yeah, I was setting up for that as an option, but it wasn’t going to be worth it unless I had near 100% odds. I had contemplated stacking W India with the rest of the UK units and forcing my way back there, but didn’t like giving Germany such a free hand in the middle east.

And yes, I hate to lose the navy

@axis-dominion Part of me wants to see the outcome of any number of battles next turn Persia, Greece, Sz80, potentially Gibraltar, and SZ33, but better I concede here. I’ve been losing for a while and getting more desperate. Thanks for the fun game!

@axis-dominion I’ll be up for another in a bit. I need to recover and I owe a couple of games too. I’ve generally gotten a lot better at playing more patient and avoiding trying to force things with sacrifices. But you and Adam always force me to play desperate and these bad habits reemerge.
