That’s the thing with bombing raids. It can be brilliant or backfire big time, usually it works.
In this case, not sure if it tips the balance, but the number of bombers on the board is growing and hasn’t dwindled with AA kills.

Surprises me that Axis are winning with a 40IPC start to allies, with two presumably near enough players. Chinese artillery would have made a huge difference.

The initial battle in Yunnan was pretty good for the Axis. 40 IPC isn’t that much to guarantee either side, really. It’s clear that for skilled players 30+ IPC bids are needed. The Axis have a pretty big logistical advantage despite starting with lower TUV and lower income (not mentioning ability to win on only one side of the map). I’m not following the game very closely but I would be afraid of making any predictions at this point.
