@hopper1999 I’ve access to both resin and PLA printers, and while resin has a couple of extra steps compared to PLA, I wouldn’t consider it painful. I’ve come to appreciate resin’s ability to show detail even in very small scale. For me its worth the extra steps to clean and cure, for those results. What’s great is there are so many free units available, with some simple editing/converting you can quickly build cool armies.
As for casting, while I haven’t casted any A&A parts yet (still building my unit library), I have casted a lot of 3.75 action figure parts. I’ve gotten best results using a syringe and pressure pot. (I converted a old paint pressure tank). You inject your mold, and then put it under pressure, I’d do around 30psi, to help the resin into the thinner parts of the mold and prevent bubbles. It also helps, when making your mold to put it under pressure as well. I’ve found it helps prevents bubbles in the silicone and between the silicone and the part being cast.
I plan on using casting to duplicate units I already have, that I can’t find stl files for.

Very nice! I also put stickers on my boxes.

I cant believe I forgot a picture, lol… I replaced Italy’s roundel. I didn’t like the WWI roundel that they used in the map/counter, etc. I don’t have pics of all the containers. The containers also have a setup card in the top. I do have a special container for Tech weapons. I put an Biohazard symbol on that container. Also we play with certified dice from Vegas. A little bigger than the normal axis dice.

Sweet! I have a round wooden dice tray I got off Amazon.com… its very nice… and (hopefully any day now) I should have a full set of combat dice from FMG for the five major powers. Those are nice bins… they look about the same size (roughly) as my bins. I thought about bigger stickers for my bins, but I liked being able to see inside them while still closed.

Where’d you get those white factories in your box ? e-bay ?
-
Yep, yep… E-bay… I’ve got both grey and white factories off E-bay (white is original MB game, I think grey is revised). But I got 24 white ones in my bin… Just E-bay search “Axis and Allies Replacement”… you’ll find all sorts of stuff.
Oh, and here’s that baggie we were talking about…

OK. Thanks.

I prefer to keep my games separate. There a a couple of exceptions. I have 3 copies of classic 2nd ed that share a box. I threw out the worst board and one set of styrofoam unit trays. I combined my 1940 2nd ed pieces in country specific PLANO boxes. They are adjustable with 5 to 20 spots. One for my gamers paradise tokens one each for germany japan italy us uk russia anzac. China and france share a box. The shared pieces like facilities and chips (and soon to be plag poles, battle markers and damage chips) have their own boxes. My 2004 revised, 42 2nd ed and preordered anniversary 2nd ed are/ will be separate. If i get 41 it will be for pieces so those might go in with global and i plan on getting white inf for neutrals which will go in with chips and facilities.

I prefer to keep my games separate.
To each his own of course.
Personally, I prefer the bigger nation bins that combining them allows. Whether I’m playing 1941, 1942 (and/or if I owned Global), Germany is Germany, UK is UK, etc, etc… so I don’t really see a need to keep the bins separate by game, especially since I don’t play two games at the same time so I only need one nation bin per country.
Naturally, everyone will do what’s best for their own situation/philosophy on the matter.

I keep my games separate, however I add pieces to them from HBG.
