One thing that really makes 1941 a fun, casual game is how easily “crazy” things can happen. There is never a need to surrender either. The quick play time and small number or dice allow for total annihilation and everlasting hope (almost.)

Personally, I’m going to wait until Jeremy has them for sale at FMG. I got both my Global games from him and his shipping was reasonably priced. The German units ahold be ready soon and I need to get some more Canadian dice as well.

whats going on with field marshal games (fmg)?
they are the official gold sponser of axisandallies.org and have tower advertising on the forum site, yet they do not have preorders for 1942.0 and 1941
seems to me they are missing (or have already missed judging by the number of posts of people saying they have preordered) a big opportunity.

FMG got hosed by the factory making the German units and had to start over. (losing a ton of money in the process) The new factory is close to completion of the units and will be ready soon. FMG will carry the games but Jeremy is keeping a low profile until the Germans are ready.
I don’t mind waiting as I’ve met Jeremy and had a great time at his convention in Oshawa. I want to support him as much as I can.

He should sell an illegal reprint of Scammiversary. He could slide those out the door at $300 a pop!

Another update:
I preorderd copies of 1941 and 1942 from Coolstuffinc.com. I got e-mails saying they have been shipped as of 7/24 and the delivery date is 7/27.
Pretty cool huh? -
