@panther Oh, sorry I misunderstood you. It was just my error. I didn’t know about or see that category. Again, I’m sorry.
94Canuck's Global 1940 Alpha +3 Setup Charts and Game Aids
-
Thanks for making these! They’re a huge help setting everything up and keeping track of NOs.
Noticed one additional (albeit small) error: The order of play is correct on all of your charts with the exception of the tech research one. ANZAC is still before Italy.
Once again, very nit picky detail. Thank you again!
-
So as of now these are the most updatedest?
As in, if I printed the Alpha+3 rules today and these today the NO’s and setup would match up?
-
What is the proper set up for the Italian navy, I see where S.Z. 97 shows 1 Cruiser, 1 Battleship, 1 Transports. I thought I read somewhere were it was 2 Transports but I cant seem to find it. We have been using 2 because its plural, if anyone could set it strait please do
Tanks -
According to larry’s setup its 1 Transport in 97. Thats what we just played.
-
1 tranny each in 95,96,97 sea zones.
-
Cool tanks, I wonder if we could get 94 Canuck’s to redo the Italian card, We have been omitting the boats in 95, their not on the card, i hope that in a week or two it will be straitened out and have been double checked so that it is 100% accurate
Tanks S.A. -
oops I meant 96 not 95, I keyed it in wrong
Tanks again -
Hey these are awesome 94Canuck, thank you!
However, you may have to change em’ up, hopefully for the last time.
Some new changes;
Move the French cruiser in 112 to 110.
Move the UK cruiser in 112 to 111.
Move the German cruiser and transport in 113 to 114.
Add 1 UK mechanized infantry and 1 French infantry to United Kingdom.
Add 1 UK infantry and 1 AA gun to Scotland.
Change 1 French tank and 1 French artillery in France to equivalent UK units.Change the Soviet “Spread of Communism” NO to “3 IPCs for each original German, Italian, or pro-Axis neutral territory that the Soviet Union controls.”
Plus this;
I have reviewed the above changes with Larry, and they are now official as written. We’ve also added 1 AA gun to India, bringing the total there to 3.
This was per Kreighund, Fed 07th 2012.
Thread for for reference.

It would be much appreciated if you would update these to the latest (hopefully final?) version! I like the simplicity of these - and the NO chart is essential for keeping track of things. Thanks again!

***EDIT: December 31st, 2011 - Updated NO Chart to reflect USA NO from November 17th. ***
Hello everyone, here are updated charts for the recently finalized Alpha +3 ruleset for Global 1940. These are similar to the Alpha +2 I previously posted.
I like a simplistic approach to the aids. I always disliked how to many things were jammed into one chart so I tried to keep it simple.
Lastly, all of these have been designed around a 8.5 x 11 (Letter) size so no funky paper needed. Any suggestions please post here
One more thing, don’t use the photobucket files, they are reduced and lower quality, use the mediafire links below.

Perhaps it is best to wait and see if Larry will finish with modifications. I would think there would be an official v1 publication when it is complete.
Perhaps WOTC will publish the new rules and allow the A&A populace a chance to purchase new rules, set up cards, etc at a discount or download them. But maybe that is too much to ask.

Been MIA. On holidays in Hawaii actually, JUST visited Pearl Harbour today for the first time. Spent from 0900 to 1600 there today. Very moving. Reminding me to check this site, I see that that Alpha 3 is finally finished. I will be updating all these charts when I return home from vacation.

Done.

Awesome sauce, thanks a lot!
-
Super Job!
Perhaps one little ‘mistake’: On the research chart there was a picture of an AA Gun in the Rocket Reserach field. I think an Airbase was a better picture, because, the Airbases launch now the rockets…We will take your great charts for our games. Best greetings!
-
Sweet Thank you! :-D

One more little point:
The Germans get the 5 IPC NO, if they controls Volgograd, Leningrad and / or Moscow. But in your NO Chart, there stay: If the Axis…
Original:
“When Germany Is at War with the Soviet Union:
• 5 IPCs per territory if Germany controls Novgorod (Leningrad), Volgograd (Stalingrad), and/or Russia (Moscow). Theme: High strategic and propaganda value.” -
Updated.
