I really don’t know how I got through that losing only 1 plane and keeping 2 ground, because some of those rounds looked terrible. I was really visualizing a resignation in the middle of that battle, but I guess a later round with 1 hit instead of 3 helped.

Wanted to reinforce Man with 6 more infantry and attack you the next turn, but no naval base made that impossible, so I think you forced it.
I was thinking this morning, pretty wild that I chose to take Guam instead of Borneo on a J1DOW, but it came up big when I landed planes on Guam J2 that could reach Korea. But that Korea move really blindsided me (That US would take it, which adds 2 infantry and a plane) so I kind of got away with it. Of course Japan is crippled and doesn’t want to deal with aggressive allies on 4 fronts. And I can’t just blitz through Russia because of Mongolians, so I have a lot to worry about
I heard it takes “a few games” to get used to the map, but after 2 1/2 rounds it’s quite a bit better. Probably for you too.

Guam was sneaky
But 4 planes there, so I doubt you missed 4
Only other planes were Manchuria (besides bombers of course) but the map is so much different it is very disorienting. That was to be part of the fun - both of us screwing up some things.
That US plane on Hawaii was practically invisible 😗
Hm, I was trying flags under the units but seems a little better without them. US plane on Hawaii still camoflaged :p
