We will release: Explained, Global 1943 Expansion in the same way as we do with the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion.

We expect to start this thread in Early 2023.

Concerning the IPC Penalty for violating the Non-Agression Pact between Japan & Soviet Union:

• After the signing of the Non-Agression Pact, Japan & the Soviet Union knew that any violation could have catastrophic consequences for both sides.
  The IPC Penalty in the early stages of the game is therefore high.

• As the War progressed, it seemed more likely that Japan and the Soviet Union would eventually end up in a conflict.
  The IPC Penalty is gradually decreased to reflect the Historic reality, since both Nations both mentally and physically prepared for the conflict.

We have play tested the IPC Penalty in multiple ways. The final result is the rule that we have incorporated in the Global 1943 Rulebook.

Germany has Taken Over Italy. This means that Germany also collects the Italian National Bonus from the Middle East territories - as well as Germany’s own National Bonus for these same territories.

Soviet Union, Early 1944:

The Soviets have eliminated German Army Group South in Kazakhstan - but the Soviets have suffered horrific losses.

The Waffen-SS units of the 1st Waffen-SS Army were among the last standing German units in Army Group South - fighting to the bitter end.

Army Group North has been cut off in Novgorod by strong Soviet forces.

The Soviet 1st Army Group has recaptured Bessarabia - and is now threatening German Army Group Center that has withdrawn into Romania.

So far, it seems as if the Soviets are going strait into the Axis trap.

The Imperial Japanese Navy launched an attack against the US 1st Naval Task Force at Caroline Islands - SZ 33 - with massive losses on both sides.
