Coulee Con 2019 LaCrosse, WI

Hi all!! Coulee Con 2019 is in LaCrosse, Wi

It is a small con-- about 650 people in its 5th year… I will be running a Global 1940 game on Saturday, Aug 17th at 9 am if anyone is interested. Hoping to have enough players to have a fun game trying out new ideas with new players… If you are in the area I hope you can come on down.

@barnee Well was disappointing at first with only 2 coming by and then them both having to go back to their booth… Then a couple hours later 4 guys came by that had not played Global 40 played for a few hours… Had to teach them the rules… It went well after that!! Thanks for asking!

@SS-GEN No, I didn’t go for numbers this year… I was just trying to get people to play. When I had people come around they were like – Hey I played the first Axis and Allies and all you had to do was get heavy bombers to win… And so on… But the first 2 were vendors and really wanted to play but had to work… The other four were father son duos that said they would be back… Now, last year I had 6 people signed up and not a one of them returned to play… So, I am hoping that by not pressuring them to return they will… I gave them @djensen Axis and Allies.org business cards, that he graciously let me have at GenCon, and my name here and am hoping for the best. I did give out the business cards to others too but I am only counting the ones that stayed to play… So hopefully they will come here and play… That did get a lot of interest for people to know they could play here online and free…
