Air Base & Naval Bases (HBG, Shapeways?)

What’s the footprint of these? Hopefully the size of HBG bases in dimension…Are you doing Navy bases too?

No bigger then the Out of Box Industrial Complexes.  Not sure about Navy Bases.  I like Ebards personally.  I will see if I can put something together a little different.

Here is the Hanger with my Labor Camp Tower Attached.

I would use these on Islands and non Capitals. The first pic I would use only for Capitals with a huge weathering with maybe cracks if you can’t make a second different style for Capitals.

Would it be easier to make the first tower and for secondary towers just buy your Hangers and Labor camp towers and glue together so you only need to make the first tower pic you posted ?

Plus, it would probably be cheaper to buy it already attached.

Ya that I figured but just checkin to see what’s easier for you.

I already have 2 sets of labour camps in the mail so I’m glad they are a different size to avoid any confusion. When will they be on Shapeways?

I will order a Prototype tonight.  If all goes well, I would say in the next 4 weeks it will be on Shapeways

I’ll keep looking then. If I can’t find any then I’ll order a few dozen off you. I was hoping to get them much sooner and it takes 2-3 weeks to get an order here from Shapeways.

I understand the frustration with Shapeways.  Its hard to create new product when you have to wait so long for the Prototype. Then when it comes in wrong it really is frustrating. Its takes about the same to get it here in Texas as well.  That is one reason I try to stock some items at my webstore.  Try to hurry delivery.  Another reason for Decals, being that it can be frustrating with Dom

I used Litko for my airbase and naval yards. Big Blue anchors for naval yards and an airport tower for my airbases… They stand out and are impossible to miss. Just have to glue them together when you get them and let them set a while and you are good to go. Since I did the switch to these there are no longer complaints that they didn’t see them. Look great too! Hope this helps!

Nice! I was just wondering today if these were ready yet :)

it may be a few weeks.  This was the first print.  Shapeways can be unpredictable when it comes to printing.  Next print request they may refuse because of thickness or size.  It will have to create a tree so i can get the cost down.  Which sometimes pose some problems with printing.  I will sure let you all know asap.
