Are the Canadian units in the out of box rules also converted into American units?

Version 2.2 of Balanced Mod resolves the China getting convoyed bug.
To anyone who cares/understands was an issue with a duplicated XML node - the second one overwrote the first. Needed one node with both properties.
You’ll need to re-download the map to get it.

BM 3.0 now uploaded to the Maps repository.
Once you download the update you won’t be able to start a BM2 game via the Select Game button; well without getting tricky anyway.
I’ve called it Mod3 to prevent getting annoying errors with objectives in your new or existing games.

Bah! I fawked up. The Japan Home Island NO is only suppose to kick in when Japan is at war with the United States, not with “any Western Ally.” Mah bad.

So how exactly is this balancing the game if you take away allied ipcs from National objectives such such as anzac’ s defense peremeter being only 3 ipcs? I mean the axis have a huge enough advantage as it is and you’ve given them even more NO opportunitys.

You need to familiarize yourself with all the balanced mod changes first.
They more than balanced it - the advantage is the Allies’ now. You’re just looking at one small tweak

the allied advantage was slight. and 3.0 restores balance to the force

Japan is significantly weakened by the need to garrison China. USSR is strengthened by some more NO income. USA and UK also get some extra income, including UK Pacific.

I threw in combined posting for the allies for the map with combat move first. i.e. UK post includes the summary from USA & China; ditto for France wrt ANZAC. If there is any demand I’ll extend that to the standard version.

Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but I just downloaded 1.9.0.0.3627 of TripleA, and I get an error when I try to select a map. I’m trying to use the latest version of Balanced Mod.
I checked, and my Java is fully up to date (Version 8, update 121). I’ve attached the error I’m getting as a txt file. It looks like the same thing repeated multiple times to me, but I don’t know what it means.

When you try to select any map?
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the maps. Other than that I can’t help you.
