What did you say? I am afraid I fell asleep before the end.
NHL 2014-15 Regular Season

@Young:
I can understand LHoffman hidding after the Montreal loss, but I thought this thread would have 5 pages by now after Detroit came all the way back to beat the Pens last night.
Ha! Yes, my shame was evident. Last night was pretty amazing though:

Three goals in less than 7 minutes. Take that Cros-baby!
Truth be told I was unable to watch the game, but I was chomping to see those highlights. That’s one of those rare games (for the Red Wings) and one which you just swear at yourself because you should have gone to that one. Rats.
But good job to the boys. I don’t know if it is more indicative of Detroit’s latent skill and ability or if Pittsburgh just got lazy at the end. Either way, it meant 2 pts and against PIT so I will take the good news. BOOYA!

Yep… Abdelkader’s overtime goal kinda made up for taking away a beauty from Datsyuk when he bumped Price in his crease.
-
Rangers might have to start signing rec league defensemen at this rate.
-
Can’t understand the Habs coaching staff for some of their decisions in the lineup.
:?
-
Ah,aha,…CH comes back to the normal now…
-
Isn’t that CH a miss print? Shouldn’t it be BH? :-)
-
For all the issues the Habs have had lately… they still have a 9-4-2 record.
-
Pretty good back and forth game, eh LHoffman? I’m just glad the home team got the extra point. ;)

Unfortunately I don’t get to watch the Wings on tv as much as I would like, but I read about it and understand it was exciting at just the right times. I like Brassard and a lot of guys on the Rangers so I am not upset about it.
Talk about the Rangers having trouble closing out games… the Wings tease and come close, but rarely deliver. In other news, Rick Nash scores with his butt…
EDIT: Looks like Babs has had some pretty founded complaints lately though: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/mike-babcock-on-non-call–-i-want-a-2nd-point–or-they-shouldn-t-get-one-050520894.html

@Young:
It will be the Canucks going all the way in the west this year.
:lol: :lol: :lol:
Gargantua’s statement seems less ridiculous now than it did last year. I think the Canucks won the off season by getting Nick Bonino, Ryan Miller, and Verbata to compliment an already decent line up. They also took care of their coaching “Gong Show” which is a whole lot more than Toronto did to fix their problems. Not saying they will go all the way, but they definetly set themselves up to compete every night.
Oh, I do not disagree that they are much improved, even with losing Kesler.
However, with San Jose, Los Angeles, Anaheim and Chicago to deal with… I find “all the way in the West” to still be laughable.
Anything can happen, but I rather doubt it.
Haters going to hate, and still early in the season, but my nucks are tied for first place in the league. Definitely not complaining, and definitely going to keep watching!

I miss playing in the Western Conference…Still doesn’t feel quite right. :-(

Yeah, I don’t much like change either. Late games never bothered me. I always liked being in the West.
-
But I did find it weird that a team in the Eastern Time Zone played in the Western Conference. Also I think it’s worth blunting the Wings-Hawks rivalry for more O6 matchups with the Habs, Leafs, Rangers and B’s. At least with fewer Detroit-Chicago matchups each game means more.
Let me just say it now, NHL expansion in general is a humongous mistake, and a team in Vegas will be an unmitigated disaster.

Relocation - Heck yes. Expansion… Absolutely not.
But I have no hope at all. All about that $$$$.
