Wizard of the coast is sending out additional playing pieces

Just an FYI for everybody. I would just assume 6-8 weeks. You will get them but it will take a while.

they are still saving money on every person who bought the game and never got the pieces and didn’t ask for them after the fact already.

I was very glad to hear this.

However the cusomer service just did not confirm but question my issue so I doubt I will get any additional parts sent.
Funny when they sell a game with to few units to play at $100.

Let’s see, they have been very fast to help concering other games.

I sent them basically the email on the first page. The only change I made is all I said is I’m short on pieces and didn’t tell them which ones I’m missing. I’ll keep you posted on how that worked for me.

Just got a response from them. I was polite but a bit greedy when it came to number of pieces requested.

Thank you for contacting us regarding your missing game pieces. Unfortunately, we are unable to place an order for the number of pieces requested, however. I have placed an order for 2 additional units of every type, for every country, as well as more chips and a new game board. You should receive it within 10 to 15 business days depending on your local postal services. OK I got in touch and they promised me 2 of every piece, though nothing about chips which is what I really need bar a few more British & German infantry.

You need to contact the Newport address on the back of the manual.

Actually I’m really only bothered about the chips and a few infantry, so maybe they’ll send me those rather than the 2 of each package.

It only costs you an email, so you might as well give it a try.

wittmann,  I’ll second flash’s advice. All it cost’s you is an email and some patience followed (maybe) by a polite follow-up and you’ll get some extra pieces. Well worth the slight hassle and a pinch of patience my friend.

I said I played a game and forgot how much I liked it, But I  did get frustrated at the lack of pieces!

Sent an email a couple of weeks ago.  Got my pieces today in the mail.  Jackpot!

Got for each country; two battleships, two subs, three cruisers, three transports, two planes, two tanks, five arty, six infantry, except for France, which got nine infantry.  Also got 30 each of the light chips (30 lt blue, 30 lt red), and 10 each of the dark chips (same distribution).  Think this will really make a difference.

Good luck to everyone else in getting your pieces, too.  I feel fortunate.

My pieces showed up today. 8 days early good job WotC. here’s what they sent me:
6- Infantry for each nation
5- Artillery for each nation (expect UK who got 6)
2- Tanks for each nation
2- Fighters for each nation
2- Subs for each nation
3- Transports for each nation
3- Cruisers for each nation
2- Battleships for each nation
60- light colored chips, 30 red and 30 blue
20- dark colored chips, 10 red and 10 blue

All total it’s a half a game’s worth in pieces and chips.

oh and there’s a note in the bag that says my car will be here tuesday  :-D
