Wizard of the coast is sending out additional playing pieces


  • I love customer service at WotC. I sent them an email about the lack of playing pieces in AA14 and here’s what I got back:

    Yeah, put in my initial request on 12/11, still haven’t gotten anything even though they said they sent them. Of course, they marked the issue as “Resolved” in their system, so I can’t comment on or update it…had to put in a new ticket. No response.

    I think I have,I’m from UK,been waiting maybe 5/6 weeks,but in the end I’ve got it.Just send one e.mail about the order and another one about my phone number,nothing else.That was it.


  • I just got a reply from them today it’s going to be 3-6 weeks. We’ll see how that works out.

    Just an FYI for everybody. I would just assume 6-8 weeks. You will get them but it will take a while.

    they DID need to… actually.

    they are still saving money on every person who bought the game and never got the pieces and didn’t ask for them after the fact already.


  • I was very glad to hear this.

    However the cusomer service just did not confirm but question my issue so I doubt I will get any additional parts sent.
    Funny when they sell a game with to few units to play at $100.

    Let’s see, they have been very fast to help concering other games.

  • I sent them basically the email on the first page. The only change I made is all I said is I’m short on pieces and didn’t tell them which ones I’m missing. I’ll keep you posted on how that worked for me.

  • Just got a response from them. I was polite but a bit greedy when it came to number of pieces requested.

    Thank you for contacting us regarding your missing game pieces. Unfortunately, we are unable to place an order for the number of pieces requested, however. I have placed an order for 2 additional units of every type, for every country, as well as more chips and a new game board. You should receive it within 10 to 15 business days depending on your local postal services. We appreciate your understanding in this matter and please feel free to contact us with any other questions or comments.

    OK I got in touch and they promised me 2 of every piece, though nothing about chips which is what I really need bar a few more British & German infantry.

    Here’s hoping.

    They said they would send them: I am happy for you.
    I have not bothered, but am annoyed at the small number of units.
    Have just plays a game actually. Was infuriating!

    You need to contact the Newport address on the back of the manual.

    Actually I’m really only bothered about the chips and a few infantry, so maybe they’ll send me those rather than the 2 of each package.

    It only costs you an email, so you might as well give it a try.
