So I fckd up the big battle a little. I guess when Army Group Flags are present, should do the edit battle as they don’t get a hit point.
Also I had 3rd Corps active out of moscow and they shouldn’t have been.
We can reroll it if you want, but the ultimate outcome won’t change and you rolled exceptionally well, so i doubt it’d be an improvement. Most likely a worse outcome.

@VictoryFirst hmm … I just reread the Revised rules and it doesn’t say anything about Army Groups not counting as a hit point. I thought I had asked The captain at some point and that they didn’t.

Alright, I just looked at that battle, and there are indeed some errors in it. I don’t think the result will be much different though if we reroll, so I think it’s best if we continue this as it is. No problem brother :)
To answer your question - no, Army Groups are not separate units that can be selected as a casualty. They just provide an extra two die rolls in combat, when certain conditions are met, and that is 2 armies + 10 other land-based combat units.
In round 2, you had only 8 land-based combat units, so the AG bonus should have been removed as well. I think in these big battles we have to use EDIT mode so that we can remove those AGs in mid-battle. This will make these battles a bit more difficult though, since we have to count up all the hits manually.
Anyway, the general who came up with the idea to move into Ukraine will get shot at once!
@victoryfirst heh heh the fuhrerer approves. I think I had enough for a AG though. @ corps and that 3rd corps counts. I will look again.

I think edit is what we’ll have todo for AG battles. We both had one though so, figured a wash. You crushed on rolling even with my extra Corps activated lol
Tough duty but you can still recover the situation. I had 10 more dudes survive in test battle lol

@VictoryFirst yea had 1st and 2nd Corps with 2 Tanks and a mech each as well as 16 Inf and 5 Arty from start, so enough for AG.
Anyway, it’s only game 2 were both still learning. The Edit thing you found is Awesome !
Totally Agree. Army Group is an Idea, All Units Contribute. Armies/Corps are represented by Individual Units
I’ve been playing for over 15 years with triplea, and have never encountered it :)

An Army Group Marker has only one purpose:
An Army Group Marker does not count as a combat unit or Facility - the Army Group Marker can therefore not be chosen as a casualty or take any damage hit.

Hmm, I think something is wrong with the sea zones up north.
Sea zone 3 should be bordering sea zone 8.
Also, sea zone 25 should be bordering sz 14.
Lol, I was looking at that American fleet up there and I thought: “Hmm, this doesn’t feel right. The sea zones look different.” I then went ahead and checked, turns out it did :)
I then looked if there were more, and found a bit further down another one.
I believe that’s everything unless I missed something too lol.
If Elk has time to fix this, that would be great. Your map looks so awesome, I am having such a blast! Just looking at the map makes me happy lol.

Pacific underwent quite a few adjustments on the other map before morphing into G40, so wouldn’t surprise me that the blocking had some stuff going the drift. Should be a quick fix for those, since sz stuff is a bit quicker to change on the relief. I’ll shoot you something tonight in a few hours

OK I sent the basic UHD with correction to your email.
Looks like this now…
This correction requires adjustments to the centers.txt and the polygons.txt. To do the same with for your map with the boxes, you maybe need to run the center picker and polgyon grabber again to make sure it has the stuff you changed for the boxes. Also the sea zone numbers in the decorations for that txt. I sent all the UHD stuff to beelee.
I would suggest updating that first, and then using those polgyons and centers files to make your updates for the Expansion stuff with the boxes.

For the inside of the boxes you just let me need to know what kind of look you want, whether you want specific graphics for those areas or just the basic terrain sort of look like other colored areas of the map.
