Hello everyone.

My name is Carlos. I’m a fun a war strategic board games since when I was a kid. I found in A&A a real good strategy game that I’ve been customized I little using and mixing few things from Global War, not all. like the Railways rules, or technology chart. Anyway I have painted all units by myself and made the mountains, but still looking for more improvements to make the game more realistic and fun. I leave you some pictures.

Hi Carlos,
That looks realy great.
I like your painted game pieces.

@titoargentum You do realize that if every territory has a railroad in it, their is no POINT??? Just get rid of them or indicate with icon that no rail is possible?
Another solution is to make the aesthetic of those horrible thick dotted lines more subdued. like a black line with hash marks.
Thanks for using my map files for this project!
BTW yes i do understand the different gauge in Russia ( yellow)

thanks, I’ve also changed the size of the infantry for smaller ones. take a look.

Well, I like the idea to think that at that moment whole Europe was connected by trains or railways lines. and Troops can easily be moved from one country to an other if you keep control of that region. Following the railroad chart from Global war you can move units into Europe no matter the distance.
Yeah, probably you are right, these are not the best dotted lines, but i made them myself using white full sheet labels that I printed. So if I want I can remove them and keep the original map : )
yes. it was perfect! thanks. I just made it bigger to have more space for troops and vessel in the regions and sea-zone areas.
great!

They look great.
What scale are these Infantry units ?
We use cast pewter Tanks, Trucks (Mechanized Infantry) & Halftracks (Waffen-SS etc.) scale 1/285 from GHQ Company.
For Air units we use cast pewter scale 1/600 Tumbling Dice Company.
I have attached a few pictures from one of our Global 1943 games, so you can see some of our playing pieces:
-
They are 10 mm. I got them from Pendraken in England. Really good quality.
Wow!! nice tanks men. I went into GHQ they have amazing things. Did you paint them yourself??
Impressive Army Panzer divisions !
About the map. I like that version, where did you get it?
-
The Infantry that we use is the OOB that came with the Axis & Allies Classic & Revised - they are scale 1/72.
I paint everything myself - have tons of WWII History books with Camouflage Schemes, Equipment etc.
This picture shows some of the German units:
The Waffen-SS Army and Panzer Army markers that you see on the game board in Novgorod, Romania, Western Germany etc. refers to the equivalent Armies that are placed on the side of the game board.
Those units within each type of Army have their Combat Factor increased when they fight as an Army (see the thread: Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion).
The map is the original OOB G40 map - but customized in colors by Siredblood.

@titoargentum Which miniatures do you use? 15mm Scale?
-
@mictator - I use 10 mm scale ones.
-
@the-captain Why do you Italicize every Noun?

When you read your way through an amount of information, the most important issues are emphasized to make these issues stand out.
As General 6 Stars correctly mentioned.
In this way readers can easily go back and find certain words, just by having their eyes rolling over the text.
