Couple setup tweaks.
- Tac from Quebec to New Found land.
- 4th Russian General Vatutin in game now. Re roll for 2 Art, 1 Inf. Removed a KV in Archangel.
- Moved 2 ground units from Scotland to London.
- Removed 1 Jap Inf from Shensi.
- Moved the Art in Com China territory to other territory.

Oh forgot. Below is the charts of tech, income, National Advantages and victory points after 5 turns. As mentioned in above post axis got knocked down to 29 but probably would of had 30 or 31 points at end of turn 6 for the win.
Had 6 techs with Japan spies stealing a tech from allies. So really only 5. 1 stolen.
Axis almost to victory point for income. Need 210 axis total income.
Also each country got 2 National Advantages to use for whole game. UK had French Resistance cells. They popped up after allies landed in Western France. So they lose that NA.
SS Elites were bunkered down !

Yo barnee. We looking at now with replacing Milan victory point to Tunis so maybe get more of a American landing in Morocco with Monty pushing from other side from Cairo.
Also adding a Solomon Islands victory point to try and get the coral sea battle going. Look at setup map pic. US line fleet there so based on history get japan to get Solomon while controlling Truk for another point and by attacking US fleet and Japan sending down some naval from home to Truk. Goal is get the buys on Australia before US gets there. Or at least hold Sydney while axis on Europe side gets there points.

OK. I am making the Black Sea 2 sea zones instead of 1. Gonna make the naval battles a bit more there and spice a German push for oil.
Should spice more Stalingrad battles with Germany not going for Moscow.
Next game November 20. Saturday 8:30 am central. USA at the Generals Fortress.

OK. Late report on game. Was also under the weather for awhile.
The Allies won the game on turn 6 with Axis surrendering. The Axis started out good and got to influence Turkey which was huge but but but as the axis had 31 points at one time victory was looking pretty decent until the US jumped on Rome based on Italy fleet was in the wrong sea zone. So it was a uphill battle for Germany to help recover Italy but as it should be it was to much for Germany to support Italy, hold Europe line, the Russian Bear and Finland/Leningrad while losing Oslo.
Italy lost Cairo and Tunis was going down to. It was nice to see a US force making a move to the Med. We added Tunis as a victory city and worth 1 point and that seems to help a bit with a more of a Operation Torch scenario based on Italy and Germany play.
The German wolf packs were pretty much knocked down on turn 1 due to UK rolling good dice.
There was only 3 subs in the Atlantic and Germany had a few subs with Tipitz BB went to convoy the Russian box ( 5 icps ).
Germany’s goal was to drain Russian money and Next time maybe bypass the Russian fleet in Black Sea and bomb Oil derricks ( 6 ICPS Income there) and IC in Ukraine for a total of 11 icps income plus 6 territories ( 6 icps ) equals 17 loss Icps to Russia.We also played with the Black Sea being 2 sea zones. That is a nice test and it forces the Axis to go for Turkey a bit more in game. Now Germany just can’t go blow into Oil fields. They need Paratroopers and a decent Navy to protect transports based on Russia has an air force but with Romania Air base out of range Axis needs Turkey to be able to scramble to protect navy on Russian coast. Will see how this plays out.

Pacific side I believe was a dog fight going back and forth. Japan did have the Dutch oil which help axis get to 31 points at a early turn for a win but then Rome fell.
Other pic is where that was at end of turn 5. Tokyo has pressure but.

Ah once I believe. Need to go all out with ground. Ignore China for 3 turns then counter later.
We felt after last game Japan a bit weak on ground down in the FIC area so next game we added 6 Japan Inf in the 3 territories. We need troops from Calcutta to move some to Burma more.
But if Japan gets Lightning Assaults NA then they have even a better chance to get Calcutta I believe.Next game in 2 weeks.
Edit. Calcutta Has fallin a few times. Sometimes in later turns.

Also keep in mind If Italy goes for Cairo then the axis are leaving Gibraltar open for US landing and If Calcutta falls then japan is weak on oil money islands. So there’s a payoff and a risk. It shouldn’t be to easy for either one to fall without some axis risks in any game.

Ok. The game ended to the conclusion of allies would probably win based on income and time.
But we have a great situation that may give the axis a win by giving Samara a victory point since it’s the new capital in game for Russia.I will post pic where Germany is in game and they have the opportunity or need to attack Stalingrad or capture Samara and hold for 31 points and probably win the game.
This is great based how there’s a ton of action by the urals after Moscow falls.
Moscow falls allies still in game. This is so cool
To see this based on no game like it.Ok. Report later today. Will post pic after Germany decides what to do and maybe redo a few different scenarios for Germany’s combat moves and out come for a win.

Ok. This is where the game ended for Germany and Russia. But if you give Samara a victory
Point now and if game continues which it will next time. Germany on turn 6 now which is winter and Russian inf defend +1 has to go for Stalingrad for 2 points and hold for a win or take Samara for 1 point and hold the Russian attack from Stalingrad to deny a axis win or survive a Stalingrad attack. Will play both scenarios out and post pics and results. Ger if had paratroopers could destroyer the tankograd factory to if they had them.
The Russian fighters came from retreating when Moscow fell knowing you would need them to counter help attacks or defense.
This time Germany has no planes here. Defending Berlin and taking back and forth in Paris to help not lose the 3 points there but keep in mind USa plays.
Sweet !Also Russia failed to capture the SS inf in Tambov to block Germany from attacking Samara. That hurts
