@seancb we also use a giant piece of plywood because any oval table we could find won’t fit the whole board. Its much better to have something under the board (or vinyl) because prevents the board from getting knocked or moved and has at least some sideboard area for piles of chips and drinks and extras. Still, we need dice pits and another area to put most of our stuff because the game is simply that yuge.
Japan DOW on US

Sure it is here somewhere but I can’t find it.
Will a Japanese Dow/attack on the US automatically bring UK/ANZAC into the war, even though latter territories/units are not attacked?
Thanks

The US is one of the the powers we need to declare War to them as Axis untill round 4.
However, UK and Anzak may DOW whenever they want to. -
No, but if you attack USA, there is every reason to also attack UK/ANZAC and no reason to keep peace.

There is no such consequence in the rules.

Thank You. That’s what I thought, but there is every reason to attack UK as well, clearly😊

Not necessarily. If I do t like my US compatriot, and Japan is happy to let me build up, I might be inclined to enjoy a continued peace! :)

Any war against the USA will get nowhere fast without the Money Islands. Therefore, attacking UK/ANZAC is an absolute must, so that you can rake in that badly needed +20 IPCs.
