Note that because the Kickstarter for this Vietnam game is already doing so well, there’s going to be a poll in the next day or so giving people a chance to vote on what kind of additional miniatures to add!!!
Stay tuned; I’ll post the poll link here when it’s up.
:-D
Yes, this looks incredible! I signed up for the gold version. I hope it succeeds!
Will be backing this in the next week or so
I will be backing this, sometime during the end of the month. :-)

Eric did a new post for the poll…

Where ? It was at top of page. I voted then site took it down. Figured it didnt get the ok yet to post it.
Do the Chinese come in if the US gets too far north?
This could never have been won without nukes.
Why VN not Korea?
Or a game set in the near future…
Flashman,
There’s an event card that implies increased Chinese assistance if the US player does certain things, but no actual Chinese units or direct intervention (well, there are some Chinese freighters that are delivering supplies in the game, but no combat units). The game doesn’t explore any possibilities of any US incursion into North Vietnam (something that would never have been sanctioned by any President), although you can get too aggressive and risk losing US “National Will” in all sorts of ways (invading Cambodia, for example).
As to why Vietnam and not Korea, Korea may be the next game we do! Vietnam is simply the designers singular passion, and he is a true expert on the subject, so that’s how this game came into being.
:-)
And funded ! :-D

Wow, how about that!
I’ll re-post a sentiment that I commented about on the KS page, that it is my abiding passion to make sure this game is as perfect as possible, with immeasurably beautiful components, easy to read and play rules, no errata, thoroughly playtested, and simply the beneficiary of my and the designer’s passion to make this game stellar.
We didn’t bring this game to light for the sake of simply producing a product to sell; oh no, we have a passion for the subject, and we want the game to be as bad ass as you do, and that’s exactly what we intended to do. Easy to play and without blemish, I’ve been working on games professionally for years and have all the experience to know how to cross every t and dot every i. :-D
Thanks to all for your support, backing, and faith; you’ll be astounded at what you’ll get on your front door when we deliver!
Thanks again,
Eric
