Did you make familiar with Balanced Mod? Great addition/modification of the G40 game that made Axis and Allies more balanced.
You should definitely give it a try!

I’m older and more calm now, especially since the birth of my daughter so I’m pretty confident I won’t tilt as much as back in the days when the dice gods are having a bad day ;-)

How come that in a city of 5+ million people (Atlanta), there isn’t more A&A action going on on board?

Go to Meetup and start an Axis and Allies Meetup group.  Think it costs about $7 per month for 6 months.  That’s how I originally found players in Vegas and we only have 2 million!!
