I haven’t used that map, but I’d recommend scaling your pieces up by about 10-20% to keep things proportional. Test fit as you go to make sure it works.
Portable Piece Storage Tips?

That was the large size that I am using for Germany, Japan, US, and UK. For the others I’m using the medium size;

If you wanted you could simply get a large plastic storage bin to fit your game and all of the containers in. Those aren’t hard to find and they are quite cheap. I have a number of different ones that I use to take stuff to the lake on weekends.

You can see what I mean with the lids in the comparison picture. Both containers are the same size but the one with the better lid takes up half as much space. The other pic is the large size with plenty of room. On the lid is a setup card, Grasshopper’s National Objective cards, and some cash.

Plano 3600 series prolatxh 5-20 compartment
11"x7.25"x1.75"
1 ea uk, us, germ, japan, ussr, anzac, italy. France and china share one.
Four colors of chips, dice, facilities, neutral armies, battle markers and air range markers in another. Gamers paradise roundels in another.
10 containers are used. I have 2 larger sizes that are unused that I can grow into. -

Where’d you get those flight stands?
-
I stole them off a one-legged hooker with warts who bought them from a dude in Toronto for a hundred bucks. They work awesome so it was worth the effort.

I use Artbin’s storage bin’s I found at Joann Fabrics for my pieces. Large boxes with 5 rows and 3 big compartments up front. No more trolling through all of the pieces looking for the one piece you need. If you don’t have a Joann Fabrics near you, you can check out Artbin’s.com… They come with 20 dividers as well. Bought the country battle labels from HBG and put them on the top of the box. Hope this helps!

Gen.Nehring, do you have a picture of those?

Pack of 3 at home depot canada for $9.99 cheapest I’ve seen any organizer. I held them too. Good quality for around a portable gaming table. It’s even cheaper in the states. Less than $5 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-7-in-10-Compartment-Bin-Small-Parts-Organizer-3-Pack-83061N15/206923596

Those are no good. Harbor Freight has really nice ones that allow you to remove each section.

The Plano 3500 Pro Latch tackle trays are a great size for housing each nation’s pieces as well as the roundals. I use six of them as well as a 3700 Pro Latch for my Anniversary edition game. The larger tackle tray fits the IPCs, dice, chips and ICs / AA guns nicely. Plano even has a small tackle bag that you can carry them.

Yeah, I’m thinking of getting Plano boxes. Would it be possible to fit 8 of them in the 2 game boxes? I think I can fit 2 in each box, and I would like to stack them 2 on top of 2 per box, but I can’t tell if that would fit. If two such Plano boxes stacked won’t it, are there thinner versions that will?

I think they would stack well in the box as long as you remove the cardboard boxes.
