  • Lopsided battles. Tried to retake Pic with 3 units against 1. Rolled 0-7, G rolled 2-3 in 3 rounds. If I had thought to convoy my infantry, I could have bombarded and maybe saved all that heartache. At least I took no losses in FrancC. Attacked the pesky inf/cav G duo in Cyren that killed 2 of my cav with even odds in round 2 and another 2 cav with even odds on G’s turn. The Chasseurs d’Afrique are no more. Would have liked to kill both G units, but didn’t want to leave Tobruk lightly defended.
    Never seen G build IC in Rhine on round 2 and Alsace on round 3. Do you think he’s out to get me?

  • @fmerwinrommel Germany generally needs to build a few ICs the first few rounds as they don’t have enough production slots near the fronts. Only real question is where it builds them.


  • @redrum I usually build early in Wurttemburg. Most of my opponents don’t build more than that on the Western front, relying on Belgium and often choosing to build lots of STs. But that’s a long march. Your building max cav also is unusual. Going for the quick kill, rather than the ST route.


  • @fmerwinrommel STs are the biggest trap in the game unless Germany is going to try to win the seas. They just have too far to walk to do anything useful.
