bit surprised you stuck it out there. But you didnt give me any good alternatives to be conservative.
This game is very different for me. Never given up Norway like this and almost never go to Egypt with Germans. Interested to see how it plays out. Also, generally super conservative with German Air in early rounds, so interesting to see how the decision to clear the early UK fleet plays out.

Personally, when I play the Euro axis, if I can’t contain R everything falls apart for me, my G mech advances into the ME and Africa come at the expense of letting R loose. I can’t figure a way to make that work, but that’s me.
W/respect to GIB and the US/UK turn, I had a hard time deciding what to do, I almost emptied NOR to put a foothold on the mainland. Perhaps that would have been a better move but I have had a lot of success with the USA stationed firm in NOR, so I went with that and the loses in the other areas.
if I only knew your land forces attacking GIB were going to roll all one’s I wouldn’t have sent the fighter to stop the bombardment. Please let me know this in the future.

Yeah, thats how I feel. I usually just dance around in the area but gotta try it and see how it turns out.

Yeah, I dont know what I would have done. I think this is the right play but its not obvious. Problem is Norway is an expensive investment. But I think if you had gone to the mainland you wouldnt have been able to do anything really (except give Russia a tad more breathing room). I could have easily stacked Paris and there is almost no way you would have been able to hold out in Normandy next turn.
I tend to try and defend Normandy, Norway, and Greece at all costs and then focus on Moscow, but it takes a while and Allies eventually build up too much and I have a hard time getting a win in Pac so eventually even with Moscow falling, Allies grind away.
We will see.
