Either the allies run out of steam and lose by now or they are in good position (like this). I think you had some help with the dice as it was a horrible round 1 for especially Germany but also not that great for Japan either (your fighter, sub and destroyer at philip killes 3 units for.example). Then you completely kill japan with that china attack. Its a coin flip and you got the upper hand. It is what it is and no reason to blame the dice as you had some poor dice too
The other game is to much work. I considered putting two infantry in gib round 1 and that would have been a great call when I look at it now. I thought that my massive USA presence would discourage a gibraltar stack. Even if I buy full USA one more turn I can hardly take back gibraltar if you stack everything. Then my presence in the pacific is too week…I wanted to try a different approach but i screwed it up in round 1!
