    I’d vote to switch sides but fine if you want another go at playing Entente.

    Early German tanks definitely make defending Paris difficult but I think still possible. If you replace the tanks with cavalry and some of the inf with artillery, I think Paris still falls in this game.

    Adam wanted to switch sides too. We can do. I fear we won’t be as devious as you and lose, proving nothing. I would not send all forces at one Front, like you did.

    Hi redrum. I have played F a number of times under the previous version and have never lost Paris before, whereas on this occasion I don’t think I could possibly have saved it as G’s odds were so huge. Perhaps I have never faced a really good G opponent. While I have no doubt you understand the game far better than I do, my own small experience says that if G discover armour early on, this version is heavily stacked in the CP’s favour. There are so many other changes to the set up making life harder for the Entente, that armour guarantees victory if G focuses on the capture of Paris.

    Have you played F against a G with armour from the off?


  • The armor definitely helped Germany, but I feel that the lack of reinforcements from Canada, the US, and England was just as big a factor in the fall of France.


  • The US has Mexico to worry about amd can’t help before T5 anyway . The U.K. has problems everywhere . I was lucky to recapture India . You can’t ignore the fkeet or risk a Sealion. Germany can capture London from the Wasy f the country , fir God’s sake!


  • I would jhabe loved to have brought over the Canadians, but there were 6 Subs there and no DDs or TTs on R1. I thjnk I did s gokd koc as England . Perhaps not Russia . I wanted to contain the Commies and keep that threat away, but they got Victory Bonds, So had more income than they should have had.
    I do think the CPs Habe been helped too much this time amd the Allies crippled with the changes. I am happy to try them again though, as I like to fight a losing battle.

    I think it’s better to switch sides each time so we can see the balance changes from both sides.

    If so then I’ll take either Russia/USA or France since I played UK/Italy last time.

  • PP says he would like to see me fail as the Germans, which I am fully prepared to do, as an avid historian. He will take the Commies and Turks, whilst Colin will be Austria.
