Best place to Pre-order 1942 2nd ed

I am using Coolstuff as well for my pre-order. When I pre-ordered G40 through them before, I had the games on my porch 3 days after the E40 release. Seems like they ship right away! I highly recommend them.

This is consistant with my experiences from coolStuffinc

Cool Stuff is the way to go if your order is over $100.00.  Ive got 3 1941s and 1 1942 on pre-order and they assured me they will ship as soon as they receive them.

Amazon has 42 2nd ed for 51.90 I belive for pre-order…

Yes. 1941 is also listed as preorder but not only are they shipping 1941, but some people have already received it from Amazon.  :-)

any update on this?

im living in germany and want to buy a copy. my local store will get it this week but the price will be at 70€ (85$), which is very expensive, isnt it?

coolstuff has a nice price, but shipping into eu isnt insured or even guaranteed.

amazon is also way too expensive (90€).

so is there any good place to buy it? or do i have to hope the price will sink in local stores after release?

In my experience, it’s pretty much the same everywhere. It’s a global competitive market.

Suck it up, buy local, and as Gargantua has more eloquently put it: remember that you’re buying a lifetime worth of gaming and still spending less than you would a dinner-n-a-movie date with no guarantee of sex!

Thanks again Loz. I have been checking too, but think I had not looked for a few days. Ordered it for £55 free delivery. Will be funny if it comes before 1941! Oh well. Have 2 friends who have been in the cellar and seen Global set up and have asked twice to play.

Well done. I have been playing Shogun total War while Maddy sleeps. I have been greedy I know. Will only be looking at rules and adding up the numbers of units each side has. Will probably start a game and not finish as my friends all work and live elsewhere.

Bah you think thats bad, hows this for torture, no A&A players near me, but over half a dozen just 60- 80 miles away.

If my wife ever leaves me, will look for work down there! Must be some retired officers here in Hereford who would play, but am busy enough and very happy spending time with Al and Maddy.

I’ll order from FMG when they get it.  No rush.
