    You collect 26, not 29
    You moved the tank from South France to Romania.  It should be in Yugo.  An honest mistake, I’m sure.

    My map will have them right.

    I don’t know why my map shows Italian naval IPC value at only 6… doesn’t matter, the map is right.

    I think you are gong to win this hands down.  My J1 was poorly executed.  Studying some past game i see that I should have kept my carriers back at wake instead of holding them in Haw.  They’ve been out of postion too long.

    What do you think.  Want to call this one and start again or do you want to see where this leads?

    ANZ actually has 19 on hand, not 14.  Should have collected NO for all original territories, at war with Japan, and Malaya on ANZ1.  If you want to protest, let me know.  The extra 5 is allowing me to buy a fighter, but it can’t scramble or really do anything - I’m moving the boats west, so I don’t think this unexpected 5 would have made you do anything different with Japan…

    No, it’s 26 before convoy damage - even your map says so.  How do you get 29?

    Well, you have a lot more experience with this game than I do.  You’re probably right, but I feel like it’s a bit early to call this one.  I might screw something up because of my inexperience with this version, and having not played much G40 the past year.

    Yeah, I don’t think I’ve won yet.  Maybe if you were in my shoes you could easily polish off the Axis, but I am inexperienced enough I could screw it up.  I think that game you had Moscow surrounded is still the only time I’ve ever played a G40 game where Germany had much success.  Most of the games were called early…

    I guess Italy is pretty crippled now and Japan is out of position and Germany lost a bunch of air on G1 if I remember right, so you’re probably right.
    Up to you if you want to resign or keep going, but yeah I think there’s some more playing to do, myself

    I am thrilled that you’re still interested in playing another game with me when it took like 2 months to do two rounds here…

    I guess I am interested in another.  If you prefer Triple A, I can do that now, but if you prefer Battlemap I’m good with that, so it’s your choice.

    I am only playing Bold a practice game (and I’m going way too slow - need to give him some moves), and a World Cup tournament game with Goo in AA50-41.  I’m going too slow on that one too…  So if you don’t mind the slow pace, then we can play another when this one’s done, yes.

    Mr.Green and I played like 10 games on the boards in like a month.  He pulled a bunch of J1’s.   Basically you keep the carriers back 1 space from haw to move back to Japan or Car, but be sure to leave a dd in haw to block any US counter attack.

    Let me look at Germany and see what I can do.  the odds are against me for Sealion and Nov, so the transports might have been rendered useless.  63 bucks down the drain is a game changing failure.

    Yeah… Well it’s not totally down the drain because you can terrorize Russia with them, but yeah.  Maybe you need to try Sealion and hope for great luck, and when that fails then you can resign  :-)

    So you moved everything into 26 in this game, but you could have attacked 26 and left a destroyer and stayed back at Wake?  Wake is still 3 spaces from Japan…

    I don’t know.  I think it’s tough to decide what to do with Japan for several turns.

    Yes, 3 from Japan but only 2 from car.  Getting back to a Naval base is very important I think.
