I was just considering that edit when I realized I had to correct Gibraltar and didn’t realize I had actually posted the change. I’ll leave it in Samara and I don’t imagine it impacted Italy but thought I should flag it since what I said didn’t match where it went.

  • @axis-dominion its tempting. I think if your air and your sub hit I have to lose both units. I can’t choose to take the destroyer first off your sub hit to avoid getting hit by the air. If that is the case, it submerges. If I can choose the destroyer to save the sub, than it will fight until the destroyer is destroyed.

  • ok i found the rule:

    so this means that we do the following:

    1. you decide if you want to submerge or do your surprise strike. given your DD is present, i don’t have this choice with my sub, which i’m sure you already know that.
    2. so if choose to do your surprise strike and get a hit, then i have to take out my sub at that point.
    3. now we go into the general combat and yes, if i score a hit with my sub and then also a hit with my air, the highlighted text in that screenshot i’m sharing applies here: you would have to take out your sub with the hit i got from my sub, and the DD with the hit i got from the air.

    given this, what do you prefer to do?

    @axis-dominion its tempting. I think if your air and your sub hit I have to lose both units. I can’t choose to take the destroyer first off your sub hit to avoid getting hit by the air. If that is the case, it submerges. If I can choose the destroyer to save the sub, than it will fight until the destroyer is destroyed.
