Despite the piles of HBG plastic at my house, I have reorganized my AA50 game into the finest that WOTC has to offer! I have taken all the best plastic and paper and put into one box. Thankfully I have piles of HBG plastic at my house so I can play G40 and GW39. See you on the battlefield! No doubt pics and AARs to follow.

Nonetheless, I’m down to my 2nd game now, and have yet to receive on error.
The only thing that does not work I noticed so far is the partial retreat during a combined amphibious and land attack. -

Kev mentioned that it is not implemented yet. I think that for the time being the goal is to have the new things added so far working flawless before other features are added.

Again, true.
And I couldn’t care less about the partial retreat. The tech’s, NO’s, transports and all thse other nice features that make AA50 so great are implemented, so I love it :-D

Can anyone give me any tips how to see the very far south and east of the ABattlemap '41 map? I cant see central USA & mex, or all the info at the bottom of the board. Thanks!

Click on “additional options” in the bottom left corner, just outside of your message window.
It opens up to give you an “attach” option where you can browse your PC to upload your attachment

AA50 in TripleA is only in the unstable version, it’s not ready for releasing with the stable version yet. There are some bugs left.

Appreciate the post, AA. It was a lot of work to explain all this stuff to my nephew without being face to face.
However, a few edits.
I can delete units by clicking the middle mouse button (the scroll wheel). Well, on one of my computers. Much easier than going up and clicking del every time.
#2, and more importantly, the DICE function always orders results from lowest to highest. Therefore, it is not appropriate when rolling multiple dice to determine which tech was obtained (multiple dice are often rolled when the player already has tech on that chart, and wishes to skip duplicates). It is also not appropriate when rolling battles (have seen some newbies do this). Some folks keep it simple by always using AAA command.

When I open Abattlemap by clicking on a map link in a forum game, and I open the battlemap to the correct edition, what I get is the starting position, not the current position. Can anyone clarify what I’m doing wrong?

You need to go to File/Open and open the file you downloaded, I think, if I understand you correctly.
Where is File/Open?
