You mean you didn’t see the 30 loaded ANZAC transports and the 10 loaded carriers coming up the Suez? :)
I didn’t see the move to 97 coming. I assume your next move was to use the destroyers as blockers and move the German fleet next to Gibraltar. And if more of the German air was a bit closer, you would have been able to take Gibraltar too. My initial response was panic but then realized that the US fleet by Panama could also block you if need be. I was already planning to move some ANZAC air to Egypt but thought that if you did set up there and take Gibraltar (for a moment I thought you had 4 air in range, hence the panic), I might need to land all ANZAC air on their next turn on the US carriers so that the US or UK air could go defend Gibraltar or the other US fleet on the other side.
As I was writing that message I noticed that my laptop wasn’t charging. Writing from my phone, but just a heads up that this might delay my turn. Hopefully it’s not a major problem.
Yeah, trying to get Gib opened many possibilities, but I figured there was a real chance I’d fail to take it and that you could probably just nuke the fleet with air power. I don’t need to win in Europe, just hold on! :lol:

I expect you will play in a way to block me from getting Berlin (which I think will also prevent you from getting Moscow) since your quickest path to victory is in the Pacific and losing Berlin (among other things) messes with that. But I’m enjoying the fact that we are in a position where if you went aggressively for Moscow you would likely get it a turn after I got Berlin. Neither of us would likely be in a position to take back the capital quickly and we would be down to Japan and Italy vs ANZAC and US.
I forgot to mention that I assumed no scramble in 112 since I had the advantage. But easy to redo.
