You damage battleship and 4 carriers, lose 3 subs and 2 destroyers (10 total)

  • Another miserable allied defense against the Japs in a bigger battle

    6 hits, 9 1/3 hits expected

I have to think about what units I will try to save.
The Japanese empire is still in trouble even if this battle goes very well

  • I damage 2 battleships, and sink 2 carriers (6)

  • The damn Japs have done it again
I’ve had so much bad luck lately, unfortunately for you it all balances out now

A scorching 14 hits instead of 10.7 average,

The Allies have 16 hit points left so can only save 2 units

I should ask you which 2 units you save, you’ll want to keep fighters or battleships or 1 each

Perhaps your round 2 defense will be even more scorching. It is possible.

  • The game save file below is edited to show the battle after round 1.
I rolled round 2 attack and am waiting for a casualty choice.

I hope it’s not too hard to follow, I tried my best.
Like I said, TripleA doesn’t do fleet battles correctly so I go to the forum, and edit units and post after each round.

Your luck is miserable so far, but it’s not quite over. And the Japs are still going to be pretty weak.

    Thanks for the timely reply,
I see now that I wasn’t getting the whole picture.
I’m not going to retreat because of the transports,

This means your best choice is to save 2 fighters.
I want to proceed so that it’s not hard for me to finish the turn.
I believe I’ve given you the optimal casualty choices,
