    I looked back at our strange 1.1 round game in 2018.

    I apologize. I have really been a crappy person to play, for you.

    I have been slow for moves and grumpy about dice (I looked over the game thread from 2018). I only played 2 games over 4 years’ time and you were one of them (and it was only 1.1 rounds! LOL)

    So you have been so good to me but I have been rather lousy for you.

    It is so great that you are the one player who will adventure with UHD with me, and my return to OOB.

    I got super lucky again with the desperate Japanese. However, I made a huge mistake not remembering to combat move on the sub in Z6. It zapped me for 5 damage and threatens my fleets, and will probably drown the transport that is in Z5, a significant setback. But that makes me feel better about the rape of Anhwe (a reference to rape of Nanking)

    Sealion seems so far off - what will happen?

    If you want me to take a couple Jap planes off for the lucky dice, that would only be reasonable. I seem to recall you offered me something like that in our other game, in 2018.

    I will try harder to be a fun opponent.

    yeah, that was a really crappy result, expected -10, but turned out to be +50 something. Well, you have the option of retreating so maybe I underestimate the power of that. We stick with the result no matter what so it is what it is. when I saw this result I was afraid I had overlooked something, but I had not…

    I believe the mongolians should have turned red, but looks like they are not. Do you agree they are red? If so I will just edit them. Nice to have this agreed before moving on

    Take your time, I’ve been busy and then last night I got the stomach flu, pushing my week schedule back at least 1 day.

    I did think it strange the Mongolians didn’t turn but thought maybe they did on the next turn or something, so YES absolutely if they don’t turn you’ll have to work hard editing it all.

    I just don’t know what to do about the mighty Russia, the OOB NO’s to the mideast and Africa and now war bonds on steroids.

    Yes, well said, attacker option to retreat, could have waited a turn if the Chinese get on the coast but they just split up more. Bombers could reach, so I think a good move and then of course the dice really blessed it.

    Two big stack attacks by the Japanese and both go great and yet they still lack a lot of land/income

    I still worry about all the good things you have going, here. And, of course, US heavy bombers! 😭

    I dont see this is an option. I dont know what the consequences are for Germany as I have not really looked into everything in detail here.

    Scramble 3 UK fighters, russian sub fights. Kill UK subs before Russian. Depending on how things go I might want to save the carrier. So you might have to ask about that

  • I’m not going to use the time and energy it takes to determine whether Triple A will do this correctly, but I’m pretty sure it won’t.

    I’m going to roll on forum to make sure this is done correctly, mainly that casualty decisions aren’t demanded by TripleA when they shouldn’t be.
