I made a mistake in SZ112 and forgot to land units into Tuamotu in the combat move phase. I haven’t edited a game file before though. @Private-Panic What a waste. I spent 57 income on 6 ships to cut your odds down to 34%, so I could stay in Baltic one more turn to build an IC in Stockholm before retreating my fleet. I built cruisers instead of subs for greater defense.
I still had more subs than UK, so I would lose ships with defense of one, while UK would lose subs & cruisers with attack of 2 & 3.
But UK rolled +5 3/4 and G rolled -4 2/3 in the naval battle.
Only half of T’s expected victors, survived. So his advance into N Africa will be delayed. Giving Tobruk ample time to bulk up his already strong defense.
This round was a complete disaster, with 4 major battles dice results going heavily in favor of Entente. This game is all but over. -
