    Just noticed that the USSR planes couldn’t reach India because they couldn’t overfly Afghanistan - it hasn’t been attacked yet. Or am I reading the rules wrongly here?

    Afghanistan became an unfriendly neutral when the Allies declared war on the Strict Neutrals. - Long quote warning

    alliance on a strict neutral territory (whether successful or
    not) will result in all remaining strict neutrals immediately
    becoming pro-Allies or pro-Axis, depending on who violated
    the strict neutral’s neutrality. For example, if Germany
    attacks Sweden, all the other strict neutrals on the map would
    take on a pro-Allies status for all purposes.”

  • I hope you are feeling better.

    When US attacked Spain (Strict Neutral) all other strict neutrals becase pro-Axis - including Afghanistan. I don’t agree that Afghanistan became an unfriendly neutral - I believe it became pro-Axis - and therefore the mentioned limitation of air units don’t apply.

    I believe the NCM move was legal.

    Feel free to post/ask the question in the rules section and we can get an official ruling.

    If you are correct and I am not allowed to reinforce India with Russia planes during NCM, we can go back to Russia 5 NCM where the error was made and thereby let you have the option to attack India in Japan 5.

    You can’t fly over a neutral. Strict/true neutral, pro your side or pro the other side, unless you attack it. You could just go 1 round and then that neutral is no longer neutral, and your air on the initial attack may go ahead and fly over (in this case, to India)
    Once a neutral has been attacked once, both sides may fly over freely even if that territory has not been conquered.
