    It is the never ending dilemma of the allies, to balance it right. Japan has “nothing” while Germany wins the game. Although it is more fun to win the game with Japan

    Lol!  The drums comment was hilarious!  I agree with you. I believe the allies greatest strength is in there ability to coordinate early on. You must take the advantage while you can before the axis can reach the level to be able to coordinate as a whole. Our game for example Japan tied up enough resources from the us to be able to help late game and progress the axis towards victory even though they are sinking ship themselves. I will probably �onced this tonight but I will have a look at the map before I do. Be well!

    Bah!!  I concede.  The dice just wouldn’t give me a chance in these last couple of turns.  Good strategy by you.  I should’ve never been so indecisive against Japan.  I should of kept after the capital take out.  You had the one ridiculous turn in the Atlantic wall to slow that down,and I didn’t put up hardly any resistance with Russia.  I liked the Japan smash and grab that really caught me off guard.  Great axis cooperation!  I had fun and learned alot!  I’d ask for a rematch but I need to finish up all my games soon and take a break for awhile.  Alot of life stuff happening right now.  Happy gaming and I hope you are successful in the rest of your games.  Be well Tobias!

    thanks a lot for the kind words, very interesting game. I can imagine it as at least satisfying to have Japan down and I can admit that it does not feel well.

    However, I believe the outcome was inevitable regardless whether you had continued to siege Tokyo or grab all Japanese territory.

    The decisive elements took place in the first 6 turns. Germans had a bumpy start but still managed to capture Moscow in turn 6 already without making any concessions. From there it was inevitable that the Germans soon will knock with overwhelming force at the doors of Egypt. As secure as it was in GoT Season 1 EP 1 that the white walkers will sooner or later come to the wall with overwhelming force:-)

    So this game was a race against the Clock with the Germans having an early start. If everything goes 1-3 turns slower such games can go into a different direction and the Germans cannot hold against all Allies without Japan.

    All of success for your remaining games and I am happy to start a rematch when the time allows it.
