The one wrinkle I see in the US move, is you are not allowed to let the Tac Bomber die, and must re-capture with a carrier if possible on your NCM. This move is not enforced by the Triple A engine, but is player-enforced (PE).

Here’s the quote from the Game Notes section:

(PE) All air moved must have a way of potentially being picked up or landing, and all air that survives combat MUST be picked up if possible.
