right on. It will all be second nature for you pretty soon. :)
Rock On
just so you know I thought the same thing the first time I saw it :)
I am sure that the developpers will announce the official release here on axisandallies.org, too, when they find time to do it.
So until then just visit
http://tripleadev.1671093.n2.nabble.com/TripleaA-1-9-Release-td7593849.html
to get some information in the meantime.
Just use your present 1.8-installation to finish your games.
1.9 will install into a different folder, so both versions can exist side by side.
You need to redownload your maps for playing with 1.9, using the ingame-downloader.
Also in case you have used a 1.9-prerelease version it might be that the maps you have downloaded are no longer working with the latest release (as there have been changes during the development process). In this case delete all files present in your
…\users"name"\triplea\downloadedMaps
directory and redownload the maps again.
Be sure to have the latest Java ( from java.com ) installed before (always a good idea).
Also the project has moved to GitHub, meaning that the links given in other (stickied) threads pointing to Sourceforge are now becoming outdated.
The new Website is:
You can remove the maps in game and re-download them there. No need to go down to the OS level to remove the files.

Yes, either way is fine.
Yep, sorry for the delay here is the post: http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=38761.0
Looks like that after downloading the new released 1.9 Version, the internal dice Server has an issue.
Can’t roll for my 1.809 Version games now.
Any ideas??

Not sure what you mean by “internal dice server”.
The MARTI dice server (you registered your email with) is hosted by tripleawarclub.org. The server had been down.
It is working again.
In case you mean the internal dicey, please indicate what happens when it comes to see the dice results.
HTH :-)
