As the Axis, I beat the Allies, played by the hard AI.
The Allies had a 27 IPC bid (9 IPCs per power).
ah the infantry push. The only method in classic and revised that mattered. :-D However in this since the ipc count has been cut down rigorously, the infantry push can be countered more easliy in this version than otheres. In fact, i think tank buys (at least for germany) are the best option in this game.
Sincerely, Hitler
2 infantry actually attack better than 1 tank and defend much better, so the tank’s only advantage is movement, which isn’t as important on this map, which is so small.
Can a battleship, destroyer or sub attack land units
Not in the 1941 version.
Is the Soviet Union completely land locked when it come to building ships? Because you can’t pass through sea zone 18 and that’s the only water connected to a factory
That is right.
Strange, eh!
If the USSR can afford ships then something has probably gone catastrophically wrong for the Axis. :-D
They should have gave you less ships for Russia then and more troops and tanks
I agree. It has always bugged me that they give you all these ships and planes for Russia and they never get used.

I guess that part of the reason for providing all the major powers with more or less the same equipment is to give players the freedom to experiment with unconventional purchases – or, to put it another way, the freedom to make potentially fatal mistakes.
I’m with you there, Marc. I once tried purchasing a transport for the black sea, as G’s planes were either all dead or out of range. I was planning on funneling troops right past West Russia, however it turned out to be a waste of money.
