I used a graphic of a Model Wood Deck. This gives your deck some depth. Working with a Blue Print of the Carrier in my Paint Program I printed these on Photo paper with a Sticker Backing. I used Decals for the Flags
Very nice!
Looking good Mr Johnson!
Brilliant!
Wow! Look at those! :-o
Finally Finished my US Wasp Class Carrier Deck Decals. Will be doing the Escort Carriers from HGB next.
Pretty cool looking stuff Mr Johnson!
HGB US Escort Carriers.
Wow, i would never be able to create something amazing by myself :-o
New Decals for HBG’s Kaga and Ryujo plus new OOB Japanese Carrier.
Awesome job on those carriers! And the other pieces look great as well. Are you a painter?
How long does it take you to create each sticker design?
Brilliant Idea. I have been thinking of creating carrier decals with decal paper but never thought to use stickers.
Very, very cool. Excellent work. Any interest in explaining the process or perhaps even making a template public?
Thank you all for the comments. As far as the process, its not difficult. Just a little time consuming. The most difficult is making sure your graphic is the correct size when printing, I do alot of test printing using plain paper. Then once the size is close the applying it to your carrier so everything lines up is next. You trim the edges so it works. To get dashes and lines on my carrier decks, its what i had to do. I could not paint and be happy with it if I did it by hand. I do have some extra carriers with the graphic on them that i am going to put on Ebay in the next couple of days, with some painted Zero’s
Decals for my UK and Austrialian Fleets
Richard,
Looking good Mr Johnson!
––Yes,…VERY NICE!
Although I’ve told you in person I realize I’d overlooked giving you some well deserved public acclaim. Your "stickers"are a novel approach and look very crisp and clean. Let’s talk further on the project I’d discussed with you earlier. Again,…Wel Done!
